Boldness was the very thing that kept getting Peter into trouble, but boldness became his legacy. It was with boldness that he preached the first sermon, saw the first healing, and launched the early church. But the very first recorded corporate prayer of the early church was for more boldness.
What if we were that bold? What if we prayed the same prayer that the early church prayed in Acts 4:29-30… ” Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable you servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
